QARNNS Memorial Page

This report celebrated the Dedication of the QARNNS Memorial. The Introductory Address was made by Mrs Ellen Seward, Chairman QARNNS Association, along with historical reading extracts on The Crimea, The Second World War, The Falklands Conflict and Afghanistan.

On the 29th October 2010 HRH Princess Alexandra the Honorable Lady Ogilvy KG, GCVO, CD was finally able to visit  the Aboretum to see the QARNNS Memorial

4.  Another Memorial

This was dedicated by the Dauntless Association and remembers 21 WRNS along with Nursing Sister Kate Ellen Gribble, who were lost when the SS Aguila was tropedoed on 19 August 1941- the REPORT is by Association Member June Jones
