A life without limits

QARNNS Reserves

A job in the Naval Service means adventure, camaraderie – and lifelong prospects. Everyday you make a difference. And no two days are the same. You could be policing the world's oceans, delivering humanitarian aid when natural or man-made disasters strike. Or you could be deployed in combat. No matter what job you do, you'll be a key part in operations around the world. Are you ready to go places?

There is a dedicated team that specifically works towards recruiting nurses for the Royal Navy (RN), both regular and reserves.

Working closely with their Regular colleagues, the QARNNS Reserves is currently looking to recruit nurses who hold specialist qualifications or are experienced working in ITU, Emergency Nursing, Operating Theatres, and Trauma and Orthopaedics. Working closely with their Regular colleagues,  life as a QARNNS Reservist means that you get the best of both worlds, enabling personnel to develop leadership, teamwork and management skills for both service and civilian life.

Do you qualify?

You must be under under 53 to apply to be RNR Naval Nurse.

You must have British, Irish, Commonwealth or British dual citizenship and have been resident in the UK for the last five years.

You need 5 GCSEs at grade C and above including Maths and English.

BSc in Adult or Mental Health Nursing and be registered with the NMC.
