A Life Without Limits
A job in the Naval Service means adventure, camaraderie – and lifelong prospects. Everyday you make a difference. And no two days are the same. You could be policing the world's oceans, delivering humanitarian aid when natural or man-made disasters strike. Or you could be deployed in combat. No matter what job you do, you'll be a key part in operations around the world. Are you ready to go places?
There is a dedicated team that specifically works towards recruiting nurses for the Royal Navy (RN), both regular and reserves.
Recruitment figures are always under review to reflect the operational requirements and capabilities but there is always a need to attract new personnel to the branch, whether that is from the civilian world or through the branch transfer option. We are very keen to speak with any potential Nursing Officer candidates and especially with candidates who already hold a specialist qualification at level 6. They may qualify for a joining bonus of £20,000.
Do you qualify?
You must be under 38 to apply for Naval Nurse and under 39 to apply for Nursing Officer.
You must have British, Irish, Commonwealth or British dual citizenship and have been resident in the UK for the last five years.
You need 5 GCSEs at grade C and above including Maths and English.
BSc in Adult or Mental Health Nursing and be registered with the NMC.
